Greetings, non-extinct Earthlings! San Diego Music Hall of Famer Jeff Berkley is running it back to Hays, Kansas this fall on an epic production quest to record Paleoverb Project Volume 2 in the wonderfully reverberant Sternberg Museum of Natural History. But first thing's first: raising the dough to make a sequel. Along with a generous contribution from the local music champions at Steam Engine Foundation, a mini summer concert series is scheduled to help drum up support. The first showcase is Saturday, May 23 at Palo Verde House Concerts in Rolando, where Berkley will be joined by the project's sophomore cohort of local artists, which includes Julia Sage, Lindsay White, and King Taylor Project (Sandi King and Joshua Taylor). Hosted at private residences throughout San Diego county, these summer preview shows offer an intimate listening room experience for guests who love original music, lyrics, and storytelling. San Diego Folk Heritage will also produce a concert in Carlsbad on Aug 15 at Pilgrim United Church that brings Vol 1 and Vol 2 artists together for an unforgettable evening of top tier talent. Summer ScheduleWhether the artists are familiar or fresh faces, each showcase will feature new songs, stories, collabs, and first dibs on exclusive merch! More About the Paleoverb Project
