Moon Sun

i loved the moon, i was consumed, his pull was strong
he filled up space with his smiling face when mine was long
the moon’s alright, he’s full of light
but he’s just not for me
the moon’s alright, but i can’t stay the night
cause he’s got places to be
so i’ll use this time to find some shade finally
